Our Investment Process

Trinity Capital Management, LLC offers an Absolute Total Return product for individual,institutional and retirement investment accounts. The company's objective is to annually produce a positive absolute return regardless of the direction of the financial markets. In an effort to realize this objective the manager will hold short term cash equivalent investments and then opportunistically trade long and short positions.

The manager typically follows a long-short directional strategy where portfolios may have a net long position (not to exceed 150% of a portfolio’s equity) or net short position (not to exceed 100% of a portfolio’s equity). The manager does not employ margin with respect to its long positions in excess of 100% of the portfolio’s equity. Instead, it uses Exchange Traded Index Funds (ETFs) which are structured in an attempt to achieve 2X or 3X the daily performance of the underlying index. Regarding short positions, the manager does not short individual issues, but, instead, uses inverse Exchange Traded Index Funds (ETFs).
